銀座「カラヴェーラ」“CARAVELA”（ポルトガル料理）

ポルトガル料理といえば、ここに行きます。

様々な前菜、バカリャウ（干ダラ）を使った典型的な料理、ポルトガル鍋・カタプラーナやアローシュ（リゾット）、半生カステラ「パン・ドーロ」。そしてポルトガル名産・緑のワイン「ヴィーニョ・ヴェルデVINHO VERDE」は、微発泡で緑がかった白ワイン。
本当にいろいろなメニューがあり、どれもおいしくて優しい味。ポルトガル料理は日本人の味覚に合う、と言いますが、それを実感出来るレストランです。
 

ワインのメニューも豊富。 Duoroドゥーロ、Danダン、Alentejo アレンテージョ等ポルトガルワインが中心。

この日はまず、爽やかにVINHO VERDEをいただき、次はドゥーロの赤「ETO CARTA」にしました。 香り高くスパイシーでしっかりして飲み易い、おいしいワイン。ポートワインの老舗の作り手のものとの事。 十二支のラベルは日本限定バージョン、キュートです！



ポートワインで有名な商業都市PORTOに河口を持つDuoro川。 その沿岸はワインの名産地。ブドウの段々畑が連なる川沿いの風景も素晴らしく、列車の旅もお勧めです。 上流のスペインではDueroドゥエロ川と呼ばれ、Ribera del Dueroの数々の名酒を産出しています。

 

最近スペイン料理ではRibera del Dueroをいただく事が多く。 今回Duoroを味わって、ポルトガルまで川を下ってきた気分になれました。

One of my favorite restaurant. We can taste various very good dishes of mild flavor, typical Portuguese, such as Bacalhau (dried codfish), Arroz (Risotto), Cataplana (Nabe/in hot pot), Pan d’Oro (Kasutera/sponge cake), etc.

We can also enjoy various types of wine, mainly Portugese of course.Vinho Verde (Green wine),

white slightly-sparkling wine in greenish color, Duoro, Dan, Alentejo, Porto, etc.

This time we selected “ETO CARTA” of Duoro, produced by a traditional brewer at Porto. It is tasty,

aromatic, spicy, moderately strong and easy to drink. The label is limited edition for Japan by a

Japanese artist. So cute !

The Duoro river. Running from Spain through Portugal upto the Atlantic. Its estuary is Porto, a big commercial city in northern Portugal, famous for its PORTO wine. The region along this river is very good wine-producing area. We can enjoy the beauties of magnific view with vineyards, Terraced fields of grapevines on both banks. It’s nice to see it travelling in train !

The Duoro river is called “The Duero” in Spain, which is highly-reputed for its wine “Ribera del Duero”. It’s one of my favorites and I usually taste it with Spanish food. By enjoying Duoro this time, I could feel as if I travelled down the river from Spain upto Portugal.
